Job Description
- Develop internal tools and detection platforms to support Deepwatch’s cybersecurity operations and optimize workflows for consistent results
- Build product features and integrations that power the Deepwatch Platform, gathering critical data for threat detection and response
- Create highly reusable code with comprehensive unit testing, end-to-end testing, and contribute to software architecture design
- Develop integrations with security tools including EDRs, SIEMs, ticketing systems, and threat intelligence feeds

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain internal tools that support and optimize workflows leading to consistent cybersecurity results
- Design and implement product features including data gathering capabilities that power the comprehensive Deepwatch Platform
- Write highly reusable, maintainable code along with associated unit testing and end-to-end testing protocols
- Build and maintain integrations with various security tools such as EDRs, SIEMs, ticketing systems, and threat intelligence feeds
- Contribute to software architecture design decisions and participate in collaborative development team building capabilities
- Deploy detection capabilities at scale while ensuring platform resilience and optimal performance for customer environments
Key Skills
- Python Programming: Advanced proficiency in Python development and frameworks
- API Development: Experience building REST or GraphQL APIs with testing
- Database Management: Working knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
- Microservices Architecture: Understanding of distributed systems and containerization
- DevOps Tools: Familiarity with CI/CD processes, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform and configuration management
- Security Awareness: Knowledge of authentication, security principles, and OWASP standards
- Agile Development: Experience with test-driven development and agile methodologies
Qualifications
- Experience: Demonstrated programming proficiency in Python, Go, or Node.js with solid object-oriented programming understanding
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices architecture, and automated unit testing capabilities
- Database Knowledge: Good working knowledge of relational databases and ORM concepts for data management
